28th february we entered the new raid zone in Dol Guldur, Mirkwwod together with our friends from MMW.
The way to the first boss is hard but this day we got through the gauntlet and reached the boss room.

On Sunday 7th February Divine Legend together with the alliance kin Mordors most Wanted killed the last bosses in DN. After all those long hours trying to get Blind One down we finally made it.
One week later we did the whole instance in one evening.
On Tuesday 24th November we took a team to take down the Watcher. This was a boss that we felt we had to drop especially with the new expansion coming and the level increase. We wanted to do it before it became trivial to even try!

We continued from where we left off last time, Az. We began with Davespice addressing the team to explain where we were up to and what the mission was.
The Ranger (+Diocletian) Arrived promptly and off we travelled, the plan was to head for Lothlorien. to deliver a long awaited message. The journey was not to be easy, we tried to pass quietly through however, stealth was not to be and were soon set upon by many Burning grims
As we travelled through the Redhorn Lodes we were set upon by Hundreds of hungry Gredbyg. They were soon polished off. I’ll leave you with a few action shots of the event.
Once were got close to the exit of Moria we were set upon by a large group of Trolls and their Leader
Finally out of Moria under the Moonlight +Diocletian was safe to continue on his own. He wished us all a safe journey and was gone.
I feel as though I should end this post with an apology to Mekki, who was unfortunately passing us via goat whilst we were in action and spent his time stuck running on the spot - Sorry Mekki!
Another Trip to Dar Narbugud, and another take down of Istum. I feel we finally have the hang of this zone now and it’s first few bosses. I think we need to arrange some additional raid time to concentrate on the Blind One and the Mistress.

Since then we have been back a few times a week and are slowly gearing up our characters. This week we have killed Flagit, Zholuga and Istum.

On Tuesday we are going to meet The Blind One for the First time Fingers Crossed!

This was the second GM assisted Custom Kin Event (24 man) organised by Davespice and was a huge success. Thank you Davespice for taking the time to organise this. The Event started in Echad Dunnan, with Davespice addressing the Kin before the Ranger (GM) arrived.
Ranger +Diocletain arrived and lead us through The Black Pool and into Moria
A series of epic battles unfolded within Moria, as it was impossible to sneak Ranger +Diocletain through unseen
Everything came to a climax just outside of Anazarmekhem where we had to defeat Mukbroz, a Moria Troll and his group of trolls and goblins
Finally we came to rest in Anazarmekhem, where Ranger +Diocletain declared we should head for a beer and much needed rest

Another trip to the Turtle this week - previously we used the burglar enrage technique but due to Book 8 changes we had to change our strat - managed to drop him first time no problems
No spectacular loot to report, the turtle did drop the coin for the helm which completed Eddah’s 6 pieces of armour! Congrats Eddah
Yet another trip to the Turtle and tonight he gave us 2 First Age Weapons, a First for DL we have been quite unlucky so far!

On the 26th May 2009 Divine Legend had a GM assisted event. This event was completely designed by one of our members Davespice. It took many months of planning with many mails sent between Davespice and the GM’s to get the event just right.
The event took place starting at our Kinhouse where the GM came to meet the kinsmen (and some select friends) disguised as Davespice’s Herald delivering the news that Davespice had disappeared and to go to his house for search for clues.
In Davespice’s house was a chest with a letter from Davespice’s Angmarian mother explaining how she wanted to met him and how he was not from Rohan, as everyone believed. Davespice’s father (An Oathbreaker) then appears as everyone exited Davespice’s house, he spoke to the kin they then saddled up and travelled to Angmar.
Unfortunately from this point forward no one remembered to take screen shots - obviously so enthralled with everything going on. Basically, along the way there were several elite angmarian that spawned that had to be defeated before moving onwards. Once they finally arrived at their destination, they came face to face with Davespice’s Mother, who was casting some sort of spells on an encased Davespice. The Kin had to free Davespice and kill his evil mother. Once freed Davespice was able to participate in the rest of the event with the Kin.
I really wish i could tell you all more of the adventure, but unfortunately for me it happened on the one week i took holiday this year so I missed out. Finally, everyone met back to at the Prancing Pony for a well deserved drink!
